Fear Ladder

About Fear Ladder

Fear Ladder is a free, private self-help web application designed to help people face situational anxiety, panic, and phobic avoidance one step at a time.

Why We Built This Tool

When panic or acute anxiety strikes in specific places—such as behind the steering wheel, on an elevator, or in an airport—the natural human reaction is avoidance. Over time, that avoidance shrinks our world.

Behavioral science shows that gradual exposure—taking small, manageable steps while feeling uncomfortable—helps the brain discover that the feared disaster does not occur. We built Fear Ladder to give anyone a clear, editable framework to plan, track, and conquer their fears independently.

Privacy by Design

Your mental health information is personal. Every fear ladder you create, every step you edit, and every practice SUDS rating you log remains on your device.

We do not require accounts, logins, or personal health profiles. Our servers never receive or store your step texts, notes, or fear ratings.
